Helpful tips for healthy gaming

The year twenty-one has begun, the major holidays have died down, and people have lazily returned to the usual work-study rhythm of life. And there is almost nothing reminiscent of evenings in front of the television. Today, the topic of our discussion will be a nagging question of computer games. Everyone has already commented on it, but today instead of the classic “GTA gives birth to killers” bane, we will discuss the real impact of video games on human health. I hope this material will be interesting not only for gamers, but also for office workers, who do not get out from behind the monitor screen.

Tip #1. Breaks

As cliché as it may sound, this is probably the most important rule for all players. The main thing is to distract yourself with things that have nothing to do with the game. During – during the “smoke break” you give your eyes and brain a little rest from the tension in which they have been throughout the game. Ideally, of course, to get some air or walk around the room/apartment and do eye exercises, so you get your eyes toned, which is quite good for them. Also, a break reduces the chance of a tilt as it will give you a chance to catch your breath and take your mind off the negative result. Believe me, it’s better to spend 5 minutes for a walk around the house than to spend 40 minutes and lose another 30 pts and tilt, but the choice is always up to you.

Tip #2. Drink Cool Water

That’s right cool water. Do not drink iced water, because you can get sick, and then recall the phrase of his mother: “go sick – take care of yourself,” or “go sick – I will not treat you. Since we have no problems with my mother, we drink lightly cool water. It not only restores the body’s water balance (after all, you’re pretty sweaty in the rink), but is also a little cheerful, which is very important to us. Especially good water with lemon and especially during the game, so run to the store and stock up on lemons, you will need them.

Tip #3. Eat Lemons

Lemons, in general, are very useful plant, not only that it has a bunch of useful vitamins, it also has excellent properties for workers, just look at:

• cleanses the body of toxins and impurities;

• promotes better absorption of nutrients from food;

• Cheerful, relieves sleepiness and fatigue;

• normalizes the psycho-emotional environment, combating the effects of stress;

• improves blood circulation and composition;

• makes up for the lack of nutrients in case of avitaminosis.

Lemon is one of the best ways to cheer up, and if you do not like sour, add a little sugar, it will not deprive you of the necessary properties.

Tip #4: Energy Drinks

This is more of an advice than an argument about the benefits of the product, as it is one of the most common ways to delay sleep among gamers. Energy drinks are quite personal and affect everyone differently and under different conditions. Only a few paired with exercise give the desired result, so here it’s up to you.

And, of course, the apotheosis of all this gamer madness is rightly the gluttony “after six. You cannot have eye problems for a long time, not to feel joint or back pain, but improper nutrition will make itself felt quite quickly. Eat during the gameplay, as a rule, pull those who play in the late evening or at night, elementary due to the fact that the rest of the time – just no time. The reason is simple – dinner was a long time ago, and you are still awake (until you go to bed – your stomach works and requires nutrients). As a rule, the course goes so undesirable for your figure fast carbohydrates: chips, chocolate, candy, soda, flour.

If you still had the urge to eat at night, then firstly you should do it at least a couple of hours before going to bed – the stomach does not particularly like to work, while you brazenly snooze. And secondly, it is better to choose protein foods, or fruits and vegetables. Suitable, for example, low-fat cottage cheese, an apple, or an orange. If you have already gained weight, and it does not suit you, then a diet will help you. The problem is solved by gradually cutting calories and adjusting the balance of proteins and carbohydrates in the diet – no starvation. If you can – it is better not to play at night, depriving the body of much-needed sleep. Then you won’t have to eat either.

Tip #5. Exercise

Exercise is one of the most effective and useful ways to prolong your nighttime at the computer. Many people don’t like this activity and limit themselves to warming up their arms and neck. Of course, if you like to sit and die 25 + times a game, you’re better to cut the amount in 2 times, because for the unprepared body of this exercise can turn out badly, but in general – only good. And you are toned and the next time you decide to play again think about your decision.

Tip #6. Remain Calm and Relaxed

Playing games is not always peaceful. On the contrary, playing can be a very nerve-racking activity that requires full attention and action at the limit. This level of stress, of course, affects the body. Stress affects our condition, blood pressure, heart rate, and muscle tone. While stress, as a stimulant, can sometimes have a positive effect on performance, too much stress has the opposite effect. For this reason, it makes sense to learn techniques for relaxation, inner comfort, and self-control.

Tip #6. Find Your Sanity

Anger, despair, excitement, or fear directly affect the way we perceive the world and play. Gloomy moods almost always have a negative effect on play. We love games, and they are an important part of our lives, but losing should not become a cause of negativity. We shouldn’t feel too bad about losing, it always gives us an opportunity to improve and play better in the future.

As a result, you don’t have to make any titanic efforts or spend money on an expensive gym membership to stay healthy during the next gaming session. If you follow the simplest rules now, you’ll thank yourself in the future.
